I’ve spent the last eight of my eleven years as a software engineer on web infrastructure and developer tools. The full history is in my resume.
Since 2025 I’ve been on the web platform team at Airbnb, after a batch at the Recurse Center.
From 2018 to 2025 I was at Meta, working on developer tools, JavaScript infrastructure, and browser performance before joining the React core team. Some of that work is public:
- Open-sourced flow-api-translator, which generates TypeScript definitions from Flow-typed code. StyleX, Metro, and React Native use it to ship their types.
- Proposed and implemented the Service Worker Subresource Filter in Chromium, and ran its origin trial on facebook.com.
- Removed the unload handlers from Facebook’s pixel, which had been keeping a large share of the web out of the back/forward cache.
Before Meta, I worked at Refinery29 and MetaCommunications, and before that at TapFury, where I went from intern to full stack developer on PrankDial, a prank-call app.
